About to complain about really dumb stuff so bare with me Only two series mentioned here are actually in Shonen Jump those being Sakamoto Days and Kagurabachi the confusion mostly comes down to how the series are given to us Americans with all their stuff being lumped together for example Ruri Dragon and Dandadan are both on Jump+ which is a selection of manga exclusively online and then Gokurakugai is in jump square a monthly magazine. Does this change your points in your video? No I’m more so annoyed with everyone just combing everything Shueisha produces and calls it Shonen jump. Yes Kagurabachi is really good

If they would make something new like new season or remake, I hope they will use old art style.

Oh yes Shonen jump is in good hands the era name is tough howecer with series like kagura bacchi or Sakamoto days this may be the slice of life assination era.

I don't know why Goku is on the thumbnail because we all can agree it has flaws hence isn't perfect for all I know the Super Saiyan transformation is crazy over used. Pov the writiers when Goku needs a new transformation or buff "Super Saiyan 5!!!".

I love Kagurabachi! Always been a fan of those john wick / kill bill type action movies and from the first chapter I can tell Hokazono wears his inspiration on his sleeves.

I started Kagurabachi last Saturday; I finished 34-35 chapters in a few hours and fully caught up in less than a week. I hadn’t really seen the memes, but it’s genuinely an exciting read. I The power system is simple, but utilized and written very effectively and it’s only getting better with each chapter. The paneling and the fight sequences are beautiful; the series just has the “sauce.”

Yeah, I do think that the horror-themed influence from shonen classics like D.Gray-man and Bleach has been my favorite trend in shonen. I don't think everything needs to have that element, but, when applied well, it can elevate the thrills of the traditionally very safe battle manga series so much. Out of curiosity, not a fan of Chainsaw Man? That's probably my favorite new gen SJ series at this time.

Back in the 00's I used to subscribe to Shonen Jump, I got it monthly for about three or four years. I don't know what happened to them though, I haven't seen them since I moved like fifteen years ago.
